Otto came this morning - it was the floor massage this week. I used the mattress from the twin bed on the floor of my bedroom. He works a lot on my spine, especially a third of the way down. He says there is a section that all the muscles going to the shoulders and down to the legs go thru. My shoulders are so much looser and have much better movement. Either it is because of Otto or because I no longer sit with a phone on my shoulder planning trips.
Last night after the plumas conversation, I asked about the nursery. Gerardo even drew me a map on the floor of the porch. Here you are, here is my store, here is the Plaza, here is the other grocery store, here is the nursery. Well, let me tell you, I am not good at this direction thing no matter what form. I was a little suspicious as I have been all over that area and never noticed a nursery. I took off, cookie container in hand and went to Gerardo's store to give cookies to the employees. Nursery should be across the street behind the grocery store. Nope. So I tried the next block, down the hill towards the river - I think, I haven't been able to find that either but a lot of people walk that way so I figure the bridge has to be someplace there. I did see a big field with lots of stuff growing so I thought that might be it but there didn't seem to be anyway to get inside and no store. It was really interesting as things were planted in bags of dirt above the ground. So I handed out cookies to two ladies with a bunch of kids and gave up and turned around. The lady at the yarn shop in Cartago did tell me to come back on Tuesday. She has Rosemary and Mint and will bring me shoots to plant. That may be the only way for me to find anything. I can't wait to see what happens when I go looking for the orchid nursery here in Orosi.
I needed a couple things so my cookie container and I headed for the Super Mercado. Of all the treats I have taken them, I think this was the favorite. It's just the Toll House recipe with half the chips and some chopped pecans. Since the chips are so hard to find, I am using them sparingly. The batch is almost gone.
