I discovered a whole new world.

As I mentioned, I picked up supplies for dream catchers. I have pretty much finished the three rings I bought and I started looking around and discovered a bamboo patch near the courtyard. When Gerardo came I took him to the bamboo and showed him a picture on my iPad of a dreamcatcher made with bamboo. He takes me into the back yard where the barking dogs are and behind the storage building is a jungle I didn't know was there. Then we went out a back gate to check out another tree and what is right there - the river that I have been looking for for weeks. You can't see it but you can definitely hear it. Maybe if I follow that street I will come to the bridge over the river. Gerardo asked me to wait a minute and the next thing I know he has climbed up on a barrel and cut me a branch from the bamboo. A few minutes later he brings an enormous branch from the back area so I have plenty to pick from. I also now have clippers to use to cut the branches and trim the leaves. Hopefully this will work and I will be able to make some interesting dream catchers. I also saw some gorgeous chickens or roosters. I'm not sure. Remember I am no farm girl. Maybe I can steal some feathers.
