I have lots of unpacking to do so I best get busy. It has started raining so I may have to wait to start getting ingredients for cooking and baking.

I am in!
Early this afternoon Jose came and got me and all my luggage and we came to the Compound and met up with Gerardo. The house had been cleaned and cleared of Gerardo's stuff and some of the furniture had been moved around. I love my bedroom - it is so big. A new 4 burner gas stove with an oven has been added to the kitchen as well as a nice size refrigerator. He left a TV and a stereo system so I can blast music to my heart's content. I may have inherited a dog. He is tied up in the area behind he kitchen and he pushes the kitchen door open and sleeps inside the door. I think Gerardo said he was taking him with him so we will see.

From the looks of your pix......it looks like "whatever happened to your first place" happened for a reason. The other place looked OK but this one looks perfect including a new pet (hopefully).

Geraldo owns lots of properties. I am not sure where he will be living. The view from the windows are of inside the compound but the view from the front porch, across the soccer field is of the mountains. That is one of the mean, barking guard dogs. Not a pet. I haven't gotten all the Mass schedule yet so I am not sure. The kitchen table is great and there are extra chairs in the guest bedroom so I can sit 6. The grocery store is across the street and they let me go in the back door. Couldn't be handier
