We made it to Canada.

Started the day with another great breakfast at the Grand and then checked out and made arrangements to have our luggage taken direct to the ferry. We had reservations for an hour and a half private carriage ride tour of the island with Caleb and his horses Nina and Chico. We went past beautiful homes and wonderful flower gardens and beautiful views. A lot of the island is national park and forest. Everything is kept up very well.
Caleb dropped us off at the ferry and I turned in our parking. At the end of our 16 minute trip the car was right there, as was all of our luggage. Off we went and did our border crossing at Sault St. Marie with no problems or hassles at either the U.S. Or Canadian points. We had contacted the hotel for tonight and they were concerned we wouldn't get in until about 10:00pm. Our drivers are a little heavy footed and we got in about 8:20pm. We had dinner, decided to go for 2 rooms instead of one and are now settled in for the night. We have under 300 miles tomorrow so we will have time to make more stops on our way to Duluth.
