Mackinac island.

We had a great breakfast and did some shopping in Sturgeon Bay. Traveling was slower today as part of the way was only two lane. Beautiful scenery and we went along the water a lot of the way. We arrived in St. Ignace about 15 minutes before the 6:30 ferry. Timing was perfect. It is a 16 minute ferry ride to the island. It is $23.00 round trip per person from either St. Ignace or Mackinaw City. The car is in a secured parking lot and that was $30.00 for two days. When we arrived on Mackinac Island, we took a horse drawn carriage that holds 12 to the hotel. That is $5.00. Our rooms are lovely and each have two queen beds. We are next door to each other with a connecting door. We were able to get a really good deal through one of Kaye's associates.

Dinner tonight was wonderful and there are lots of restaurant options besides the Main Dining Room which is enormous. You do have to dress for dinner so everyone looked really nice.
