The last day of working a full time job and the start of a slower pace. Now my life will match how I talk.
The last I heard they reopened the San Jose Airport but are watching things closely as they may have to close it again. They have till Tuesday to get it open so I can land and begin my adventure.
Here is my version of what is going on. Each evening I ask God to let me know the right area for me in CR. Well I was really interested in Palmares and then my reservations were cancelled because of a double booking so I figured he was telling me something. I changed my booking to Atenas. Now Atenas has ash all over it. I'm beginning to wonder if this is another sign. So now, top of my list is San Isidro de el General. There aren't any volcanoes there and my reservations have been reconfirmed so this may be the spot.

I sure hope to be able to post pictures but you know me and technology. I may need to find a Costa Rican techie to help me. I can't believe I leave tomorrow night.
I baked 4 loaves of bread for Heather to tide her over till I get back. I'm pretty much packed and I have re-packed twice. There isn't a spare inch in my suitcase. I am going with a medium size suitcase and a totebag with my purse in it. I have made copies of my passport and debit cards for me and a set I am leaving with Heather. You would think they didn't have any snacks in CR, the amount I have stuck in the suitcase and tote. More when I get there.
This is so excellent Gayle. Congratulations to you! I have big shoes to fill. I am happy to have had a few days with you here learning about your incredibly interesting life thus far and I am SO happy you are blogging so I can follow you on your new adventure!!!
