By this time

next Tuesday I will have been in Costa Rica for several hours. I will have gone through passport control and gotten a visa stamp on my passport and gone through customs and taken a taxi to a place without an address. That happens a lot in CR. There are no street signs and no house numbers and you might be told to turn at the white house past the big tree after the 2nd speed bump. The B & B I am staying at for the first couple nights and the last night before I fly home has given me directions in Spanish and their telephone number for the taxi driver. They offered to send a driver to get me but I was concerned if the flight is late they would be waiting around so I said I would just get a taxi. They are also lending me a cell phone for the entire month. They are located about 10 minutes from the airport so very convenient. Pura Vida. That covers just about everything in CR.
