This is exciting enough for a special post.

I just received a receipt from my attorney stating that my application for residency has been submitted. Now that doesn't mean it is approved. That will take 6 to 12 months but at least it is on its way.
Today was also Papa's 91st birthday luncheon. I was in the middle of laundering all the bed linens when I was invited to come eat and my first thought was what do I have to bring. I decided to use the bars I was going to take to Paraiso and they were a big hit. Not a one left. I decided to make coconut white chocolate muffins this afternoon and they are in the oven baking. I may have to hit the fabric store after the meeting instead of before.
I have worked more on the bedroom and I will be back in my bed tonight. I have 2 beds set up with memory foam mattress toppers and now I just have to decide what to do with the guest bedroom. That mattress is very poor, a little thicker than the one I use as a floor mat for massages. I do have another memory foam topper coming with Heather but even with that it isn't great. I may need to visit Gerardo's bed store again. The one on my bed is good and he was very proud of it when he first showed me the house but it is a bit too firm for me so I use a topper on that too.
