Every travel agent's greatest fear is they will book a client to the right city, wrong state. We all talk about it. Portland Oregon instead of Portland Maine. Well today I managed to quote fares and book Adriana and MYSELF to San Jose California instead of San Jose Costa Rica. Now the website I used only allows you to cancel by phone. They do have a four hour window with no penalty. So I contacted my super duper wonder daughter who has been playing travel agent since she was about 5. She was concerned because she wasn't the person who booked them but I told her I use her address and telephone number so don't say you aren't me. I wasn't sure it was still within the four hours but, yes it was. She was able to cancel everything I booked with no penalty and I was able to start over. You can be sure this time I made sure I had the right San Jose. Yes, Adriana is all booked again. I haven't done mine yet for February coming back from Heather's but there are some $150.00 deals from Chicago via San Salvador. Well I have never been there. I may try it. I can't take Southwest without overnighting in Chicago because they only have morning flights that time of year and I have a long bus ride from Madison to get there. What a day!
Today reminded me how lucky we were yesterday with the weather. It rained off and on all day. Yesterday it was so hot I wore a skirt instead of pants.
I think I will go back to being retired and baking cookies and let Bursch Travel do my tickets. This is too stressful!
