I know it doesn't look like much

But, here is my first vegetable garden, that I couldn't have done without John's backbreaking help. My original thought was to plant sunflowers here and there but in the article I read, thanks to Debbie, it said not to plant them within a foot of most of the things I was planting so I put them across one end. I then have onions, celery, an empty spot for what Heather is bringing like squash and cucumbers, the lettuce planter in the front and another empty spot for John's tomatoes, chilies, parsley, dill and chives. I watered it all really good and even mounded the dirt in rows before I planted. Grandpa Perlinger would be so proud of me. I found that if I attached my hose to the laundry sink hose I could easily reach the whole garden. I can't wait for things to start coming up!
