Tomorrow is beans and bread day

Emelio and I didn't connect today for cookie baking. Not sure what happened. I did enjoy all the people I recogonized and greeted as I sat on the pizza shop step for a half hour. Lots of activity on Main Street at mid-day. I gave up and took my mixer and container of cookies down the street to the Super Mercado. I had run out of oatmeal to cookies and I kept forgetting to get garlic. They had a sale on toilet paper so I stocked up for when the girls come. I also got a container of what I think might be eggnog to try. I decided I am making a crockpot of black beans tomorrow as I have all the ingredients and I thought a fresh loaf of peasant bread would taste good. If the weather is better I will also do laundry and that way I will be free for excursions on Saturday. It has been raining off and on all day. I planted some seeds and I hope they don't all float away. The banana tree by me has a couple yellow bananas that the birds are thoroughly enjoying. Every once in a while I will hear a loud thud on the roof and it is fruit falling from the trees. Sometimes it is because the birds have already partially eaten it. I have seen that in a couple big avocados.
Jose is going to stop over when he has a chance so we can talk about a beach excursion while the girls are here. Courtney is talking the Pacific and Heather is talking the Caribbean so I will see what I can work out.

Beautiful bird but I can't get any closer or it flies away.
